Meet Kim

Level 2, 3 and 4

Hi! My name is Kim and I am teaching level 2, 3 and 4 at S.D.V. Chassé. I’m 26, living in Enschede and by day I’m an Education Specialist at Inreda Diabetic.

I’ve been dancing most of my life. What started at streetdance (don’t ask me to do that again 😅), quickly turned into years of fun following jazz, modern and contemporary classes. I was even a member of Chassé for six amazing years!

My teaching and choreographing journey began with the beginners group at Chassé, and later I started Dancing Dutchies, where I’ve organized tons of dance workshops and performances – and I’m still going strong.

I absolutely love creating choreographies and bringing them to life with dancers. Seeing a piece come together on the floor, feeling the energy in the room, and watching dancers grow, not just in technique but also in confidence and expression, is what makes teaching so much fun for me. Every class is a new adventure, and I can’t wait to dance with you! 💃✨

Meet Mette

Level 1

Hi my name is Mette and I’m 24 years old. I will be teaching level 1 together with Minke and Marit. I currently study educational science and technology at the UT.

I am really looking forward to creating a dance and see it come together with the dancers and having fun lessons 🪩

I have done a lot of dance styles in my life like ballet, modern, jazz & theatre and enjoy them all coming together at Chasse. I have worked in animation for three years and loved creating fun dances since then. 💃 I’ve danced at Chasse for five years and I really love it! ✨ I’ve been in the instruction committee for three years and choreographed some dances for shows as well as directing the last four shows 🎬.

I am really looking forward to creating a dance and see it come together with the dancers and having fun lessons 🪩

Meet Minke

Level 1

Hii! I am Minke and together with Mette and Marit I will be teaching level 1 of Chassé this year. I am 21 years old and doing my master’s here in Enschede.

I have been dancing over 10 years by now. I started with ballet and have been consistently following lessons up until university. Apart from that I used to be in the Select group back home, followed modern and contemporary classes, and completed DansLAEB at Artez where I got introduced to even more dance styles.

When I started university I left home for Enschede and started looking around here where to dance. After a half year with Arabesque I finally found Chassé and haven’t looked back since. I still love ballet but I really enjoy being a member of Chassé.

It has been three years by now, filled with a lot of dancing, laughter and fun. Now as a Student Dance Teacher I get the opportunity to share this with others whilst challenging myself, as this will be my first year teaching at Chassé. I look forward to meeting you all and dance together!

Meet Marit

Level 1

Hi!
My name is Marit and next year I will be teaching level 1 at Chassé together with Mette and Minke. I’m 19 years old and currently in my second year of my HBO bachelor’s in Forensic Investigation.

I started dancing ballet when I was only 4 years old. Not long after that, I also started taking modern and jazz classes, and when I was around 12, I added streetdance/urban to the mix because I just really loved dancing. Around the age of 14, I was asked to join the selection team, which also meant dancing on pointe. So, you could find me at my dance school in Zevenaar even more often!

Every year, we also got the chance to create our own dances. I made solos, but also choreographed a piece with a group of six dancers. It was always a challenge, but looking back, creating choreographies was definitely one of the things I enjoyed most about dancing.

After high school, I stopped dancing for a while because I moved to Enschede. In September 2025, I started dancing again at Chassé, and I quickly realized how much I had missed it. So when I was asked whether I would like to start teaching at Chassé, I was really excited to take on this new challenge.

I can’t wait to start teaching and dancing with you! 🙂
